Amazing news! I would tell you not to stress because it’s basically a done deal at this point, but I’ve been checking for the lease signing email every ten minutes lol. Hope everything clears quickly for you!

Lol did you get the email? Do you also have the same 5 day deadline to sign once you receive it? I will just play the waiting game now!

They did give me the email to sign in 5 days. I signed it the same evening as I received it lol. They’re currently requesting a mid sept move-in date for me. I’m super excited!

Omg I just received my approval but they asked me when I’d like to move in I said October 1st but if it’s too far I can work around that. I guess I’m waiting to see what I will need to finalize the lease, im over the moon with excitement.

I’m not 100% sure, but I believe they are obligated to give you enough time to submit proper notice in your current living arrangement which would be 30 days. However, I believe you will need to pay the full security deposit and first months rent on lease signing.

I’m sure they’ll work with us. Just make sure not to be pressured into anything unreasonable and remember you can always involve the city if you believe you’re being treated unfairly.

How did you receive your approval? Was it an email or did you check your status? How long after your documents were submitted did you get your official approval?
