It sounds like you’re in the right CB so that’s good. There’s just a preference for people who already live in the same neighborhood as the building.

For credit score, they aren’t allowed to disqualify anybody with a FICO score above 580 which isn’t too crazy of a bar to pass. Even if your score is lower than that, you may still be approved if your income looks good and you have a record of paying 12 months of rent at your current place.

That sounds amazing you’re a little further in the process they seem to be moving super fast. Thank you for the insight this is good to know.

No, my forms did not have a unit number on them. I think this packet may just be income verification to sent to nychdc, from what I’m reading it seems like something is out of order. What I meant to say is that there’s an interview questionnaire attached to the packet which asks if all the household members attended the interview. I haven’t had an interview yet, nor have I seen any units. I definitely wouldn’t accept a random unit sight unseen.

Update! Seeing an apartment tomorrow. The marketing agent seems to think they’re already out of 1 bedroom units. Bummer but whatever!

I’m honestLy shocked. I’ve never heard of it going this quick. I’ll update and maybe post a video from the tour when I see it tomorrow.

Keep us updated and hopefully you can provided photos of 1 bedroom and studio , I wonder if there any 1 bedrooms set assign for people without any preference

More likely the units on the higher floors of the building aren't completely finished so the units aren't "available" *yet* but aren't filled. Time will tell.

Wow wow wow. I’m in shock. The building is amazing. I had to clip some of the video for privacy but here is the unit I asked to move forward with:

The real estate agent that showed the place said to contact the email we’ve been in contact with and list the unit number I preferred. Obviously, it was almost 5pm so no one has replied yet. He also said if I’m meeting him essentially that means I’ll be getting the unit, but who knows what the timeline for move-in will be.

As far as available units, he said that since residents were already living in the building they wouldn’t have been able to certify the building as habitable if the apartments weren’t ready. In any case, I was only shown studios but I’m more than happy with making it work.

You guys the gym was pristine and well-appointed. All the spaces were gorgeous and all the views from the three units I was shown were unbelievable.

I’ll update you on the process as things develop!
