Hi guys and congrats! Decided to post/ask in this thread because it's a little more active than the one I'm posting in. I was approved for Bronx Commons and also went to the buildings website and now see that a temporary certificate of occupancy was approved on 12/30.
443 E 162nd in case someone wants to verify for me! We can move in with the temporary one, right? I already put in my 30-day notice and need to be out of my apartment by 1/31 so I'm a little anxious. My leasing agent is on vacation of course.

Just contact the management office to keep you updated. A temporary certificate of occupancy is sufficient enough to prove that the building is move in ready/safe to live in. Once they correct any pending items needed and have all construction work papers signed off they will receive the permanent certificate. If you search on DOB you will be able to get more information as to what is required to obtain the certificate and knowledge of why a temporary certificate of occupancy is given.
Nazbeatz, I dont think it work like that. We are in there.i had to bring the last 6 weeks paystub because it expired on 8th. But why are we still waiting. Im ready today, i want to move in today and start shopping for furniture. Damn, what are we waiting for.

Lol thanks for your positivity! And yes Im ready to move as well today, my agent says Friday they are expecting everyone to sign the lease. She did say that it was 1142/month versus the 1145/month advertised, I asked her if she was sure so I don't turn in less than expected. Did anyone else hear its now 1142/month?
Ms Williams told me to get ready and bring in 2 x 1142 for security and rent. Do ya think they calling us at the same time to office or to some where else. Do ya think they are doing the supporting housing first something, im just saying, what are we waiting for????

Honestly idk whats the hold up. It could be the expired documents because my agent told me alot of mine expired as well. Ive been sensing paperwork back and forth all day lol So I guess they did change it to 2 for 1142, either way its like "C'mon let's go already!"
I know, im right. We waited so long, a couple aint going to kill us. Just get it together so i can start living in my place. Everyone congratulations cause we deserve it.
It's just to have your most recent documents up to date. You're already in do not worry. They're not going to tell you to go sign in the lease and then be like nope forget it just because of your stub. I wonder what the move in process will be like if we have to schedule a date etc... Those be irritating because they usually give everyone a time frame. I'm trying to move in as soon as I have the keys in my hand!!!!
