just want to understand the rule of 120 days. my interview day was on October 7th 2016.
everyone has to resubmit or only the one past the 120 days?

I called HPD compliance department (yes I did). They referred me to the HPD handbook.

Go to: http://www1.nyc.gov/site/hpd
Click on the following:
Developer (blue line on the top)
Markating (the the left side)
Then select Markating Handbook
Read page 44 paragraph 3

As required under tax credit rules for all verification, documents must be current within 120 days of the tenant income certification (TIC) effective date (which is ultimately the move-in date).

That's what I would like to know since I would like to give my landlord 30 days notice as per my lease. I had thought about informing my landlord at the beginning at this month but considering how we have been left in the dark for so long and given move-in dates that never happened without any followup I thought it safer not to safe anything until lease signing.

I'm in the same boat Sycamore6000, except my lease has expired and my landlord has not provided a month to month lease..so basically I have to be out on 1/31.
