Happy to hear that Diddlebee. When you go Monday to choose your apt, try to pry the person showing you the apt for more info regarding the Jan.15 date lol.

Oh, I plan on making a list of questions. I was also told no deposit required on Monday. They are not supposed to ask for it until the lease signing.

Question:

I see a quite a few people applied for the 1 bedroom, did you apply as a single person? or as 2 people whether it's your spouse or child?

I have a question DiddleBee, ask if they will check how much we make (w2 forms) every year?

Does anyone know? I was wondering what will happen if I get an apartment and I start to make more money next year or the year after then what was "Originally" required for the apartment.

@elbasurero Typically I don't think they recheck your annual income. But, I have to say these people at langsman don't know how to calculate correctly. My interviewer had the recalculate 3 times till they got it right. Which is probably why the process is taking so long, their calculations were probably off...

elbasurero,

I was told by both the person who initially interviewed me, and the person who showed me my actual apartment, that I would have to submit w2's to them every year, but only for record purposes. The girl who showed me the apt said even if you make 200k one year after you move in, as long as your income qualified when you apply the amount of money you make does not matter from this point on. Huge sigh of relief, because I did not want to have to second guess any promotions at work or advancements in life thinking whatever I do would impact where I live.

@ste718 I applied for the 1 bedroom with my spouse who is currently not working and in college.

I applied for 1 bedroom for myself and daughter. I was told on the interview that they would not request W2s each year for the more expensive apts. Once you're in, you're in.
