But the driver & his dog amazingly survived flipping over auf der autobahn several times. Which proves that German engineering is tops.

The point here isn't the cars themselves; it is the wannbe Keselowskis and Andrettis who have no other qualification or aptitude for driving 100 MPH other than the fact that the number appears on their spedometer.

The car may be able to go that fast

Most times, the driver can't.

100 mph isn't really that bad. The speed limit on I-15 between LA and Vegas is 75-80 mph so if you have a performance car, you can safely do 100 and not risk getting pulled over.

100-110 most people could handle, depending on the car. Anything above 120 is a risk IMHO

You only got up to 95 and you got caught?

Pleb. I hit 105 on 130 and 110 on 33, didn't caught.

Then again, I got caught going 77 on 33 in Manalapan. Go figure.

Caught for what? Cops have no business bothering people. Traffic is none of their business. We have all accepted it as theirs but really?

Well that's true. Germs and Swedes do safety right!

Jesus H. Christ. Who are you people trying to impress?

"I can go 95 mph!"

"Only 95 mph?"

"I can go 105 mph!"

"Pfft. I once went 110 mph!"

"I'm pretty sure I can go 120 mph without any danger!"

"Yeah, well, I'M pretty sure I can go 200 mph without any danger!"

What's next? Whip it out and grab a ruler?

Why should anybody feel bad for this idiot, or try to help him? Even the speedfreak, anti speed limit, political conspiracy theorist, anti cop people in this thread are saying what he did was stupid.
