Every time we celebrate Val's birthday I am also reminded that it is also Country's birthday. So let's celebrate both of these awesome ladies. (I am also remiss if I don't wish a very belated to LOL)
I might not come over here to CD but once every 6 months or so, but I truly miss and love the memories of the gang.
So Happy Birthday to Country and to Val - for those with some graphics and such can you post them for me. Enjoy your special days - you both are worth it!

Thanks my friend, don't worry about it as that should be all the problems in both of our lives.
Thanks for the reminder about Country's birthday.
Still going "nuts" about a possible relocation that it has consumed my mind too much but no excuse though.
Awww thank you, thank you for the birthday wishes. I love the birthday cake and flowers Our parties may have grown a bit smaller from where they used to be many years back, but still much appreciated. I'm glad that many of the former 'regular' CD members have managed to connect on FB and can send all the foolish graphics that they want

"In Flanders Fields"
"In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields."
By Major John McCrae, May 1915
