Big houses with lots of bedrooms (that is a guesstimate)

I really want an IKEA. I like their homegoods department.

Agree, It's crazy a company can make money just driving to Atlanta to pick up IKEA products and deliver it to Nashville (I guess cheaper then UPS/FedEx).

I read somewhere that IKEA uses a population density metric (somewhere around 2 Million) when it decides where next to build (among other factors I'm sure). Davidson County is just North of 600K. I just don't think there's enough people to meet their metric.

There's so many colleges around Nashville you'd think it hit smack in the center of their demographic, but so far that hasn't seem to convince them to come to the Music City.

I know, us rubes on the north end tend to get overlooked. Mount Juliet and to a lesser degree Lebanon seem to be the next "it" towns.

There's some big stuff going on between those two towns along 40.

There was a rumor that Sprouts was coming to Hendersonville, but that fizzled out. At the time I was in San Antonio and saw one there, so I stopped in. About 1/3 the side of Whole Foods but not bad. Though they did not have the kitchen/fresh cooked goods that Whole Foods has (which is pretty impressive).

That's right! I saw they opened yesterday. Did you try it yet?

My kids went to the new Krispy Kreme and gave it their seal of approval. It has the donut machine visible, which was a big hit to watch them being made.

I think I saw the grand opening of hobby lobby too. Not the most exciting news but I am sure once my wife gets wind, I will see plenty of seasonal trinkets around the house.
