It was engaging but I don't like endings that are left to the audience to decide. I think it's a cop-out.
But it was well-acted and gives a peek at modern Iranian life and justice system.
3.5 out of 5 stars.
I really liked that one. I actually gave it a 5 out of 5.

I gave it 4 + out of 5. I already follow Abbas Kiarostami, so Asghar Farhadi is added to the list. Ana Lily Amirpour is no slouch with her A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night debut last year.

On Netflix:
Detachment
Short Term 12
Arranged

All 3 were very good. I actually picked these out with the intent to draw the interest of my wife into sitting down & watching a movie, but I was the one who got drawn in.

The Lunchbox --- Indian movie about a lonely housewife whose mistakenly sent her husband's lunchbox to another man and began a penpal relationship. It's a bit slow and tedious but well-acted.
3 out of 5 stars.
5 out of 5 stars if you're looking for something to put yourself to sleep.
