A Separation - -an Iranian movie about a couple going through a divorce and then a tragedy happens.
It was engaging but I don't like endings that are left to the audience to decide. I think it's a cop-out.
But it was well-acted and gives a peek at modern Iranian life and justice system.
3.5 out of 5 stars.
Aberration-Ultra-low budget sci-fi/horror. A woman staying in a remote cabin is terrorized by mutant gecko lizards that are clearly rubber toys being thrown around or pulled by a string. I swear I am not making this up. So bad, It's good.
That new movie Hot Pursuit, with Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. It was alright, kinda goofy but somewhat cliche/predictable. Eh.
