I just watched the movie QUICK CHANGE (1990) on VHS
I found this today @ salvation army it was recorded off analogue cable sometime in the 90s from a CBS network.......
It was recorded in SLP mode ..... I recorded it onto another tape in SP mode w/o the commercials..
(HI-FI enabled)
I have been wanting this movie for awhile but seeing its a WARNER BROS movie and the fact it came out in 1990,it would be DIGITALLY PROCESSED on the VHS tape and I didnt want that...... (I got the best copy of the movie today (Recorded over analogue cable (Best sound and pic)))
Saw "Black Sea" last night with Jude Law--
we had been to see anything good and refused to go to J-Lo's or The Loft flix or other crap so wound up with "Black Sea"
Much better than anticipated--plot was little far fetched but special effects and cinematography was excellent at capturing the claustrophic intensity and fear...it wasn't mediocre and had good production values--
the NYTimes review was more harsh than it needed to be I think--
Law's performance was strong and he came across as a stronger, more physical personality than he usually plays--
he did seem like type of man who could wrangle a crew of down-on-their-heels Russians and UK submarine jetsom...
It would have done better if it was originally released at better time (not so close to "American Sniper") and w/ some more promotion I think because it is a "guys" movie...
Just finished watching Dracula The Untold Story. We liked it but I can see why it didn't well at the theaters.
