Rush on HBO. Formula 1 movie with Chris Hemsworth, directed by Ron Howard. Got decent reviews on RT but didn't really grab me.

The Fault in our Stars (extended version). I must have watched it a dozen times in the last three weeks. It's a wonderful movie! The book's good too.

We just got home from seeing, St. Vincent, with Melissa McCarthy and Bill Murray. It is really good.

It is advertised as a Melissa McCarthy comedy, but it is not. It's a Bill Murray movie (academy award material IMO) that is more poignant than funny, although parts of it are amusing.
Naomi Watts is good as a Russian hooker, and the little boy in the movie is super cute.

Neighbors (2014)

Too juvenile and pedestrian -- I do not recommend it.

You're a jackass, Seth Rogan.

Ouija-- It was fun and had the right formula for horror with twists and turns and plenty of POP-outs.
Great Halloween flick!! Not to bloody, relying on suspense rather than hoolyside effects. Actors and actresses did a super job, I recommend Ouija for young and old alike.

The Judge, with Robert Duvall & Robert Downey Jr.

Every scene makes its point, every line of dialogue weighs in.
But it works the material too hard - it's all so emphatic and
over-egged and improbably tied together.

8/10...

Windtalkers. I forgot how good of a movie this one was. Beautiful scenery, almost as graphic as Saving Private Ryan, and a really good cast (Cage, Slater, Ruffalo, Stormare).
