Runaway Train this a.m. Great film. Oscar worth performance on the part of Jon Voight.

We finally got around to watching "Saving Mr. Banks" with Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson. Simply a great movie. It does make one look at the movie Mary Poppins in a new light.

My wife pointed out, which I had never thought of, that Mrs Travers used the title name to suggest "Mary Pops In", hence the author's insistence that the full name always be used.

NEIGHBORS, a comedy about a young couple suffering from arrested development who are forced to live next to a fraternity
house after the birth of their newborn baby…Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne lead the cast of Neighbors…

I really laughed with this comedy!

Life Is Sweet (1990), directed by Mike Leigh (Happy-Go-Lucky (2008)). You'll recognize Jim Broadbent (Moulin Rouge!, Bridget Jones' Diary), and Timothy Spall (Harry Potter series), and David Thewlis (The Big Lebowski, Harry Potter). Twin girls are introduced and little by little you learn more and more about each of them, and this somewhat disfunctional family and how they work at getting on with life.

Currently watching Extract which stars Jason Bateman and Mila Kunis with supporting actors Ben Affleck, Kristen Wiig, David Koechner, and more.

A real decent cast for a movie I've never even heard of... I love Jason Bateman too... so I should enjoy it! I'll report back when I'm done :-)

Spy Game with Robert Redford and Brad Pitt. It's an excellent movie. We own it so I've seen it before, which is true of so many of our movies.

Just prior to that we watched A Most Wanted Man with Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Rachel McAdams. Hoffman was... outstanding in this anti-terrorist, spy thriller, just outstanding!

Mahrie.
