"The Wolf of Wall Street." It's tied with "12 Years A Slave" as the best movie I've seen this year

We watched " Ran" night before last. Very strange movie. Last night saw " The Matador" with Pierce Brosnan. A very forgettable performance by him and Greg Kinnear. Glad we didn't pay for it. Afterwards we saw " Brave", a Pixar cartoon. The best of them all.

Saw "Saving Mr. Banks" at a real live movie theater yesterday! And LOVED it! Tom Hanks, Emma Thompson and others were terrific and the story line (based n a true story) was fascinating.

Watched The Fugitive on cable, starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones (who deservedly won an Oscar as best supporting actor)... Harrison Ford seemed perfect in this role ... impressive stuff ...

We just rewatched "For Roseanna." Lighthearted slightly dark comedy, but very sweet moments, too.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) 6/10

Could have been wonderful, but ended up just being alright, not bad not good just there. Ben Stiller shouldn't have directed this. The story lacks intensity with poor direction and editing but its beautiful cinematography perhaps made it watchable.
