"Warm Bodies".

What a fun, original little zombie movie! I loved the main character.

Some of my favourite lines:

"Don't be creepy, don't be creepy."

"Nice watch."

"What am I doing with my life? I'm so pale. I should get out more. I should eat better. My posture's horrible. I should stand up straighter. People would respect me more if I stood up straighter."

"Be dead. Be dead." (Julie groans loudly, walks stiffly) "Too....much."

"Frankenweenie." It was okay.

Doesn't hold a candle to Nightmare Before Christmas.

Saw "Abduction" With Taylor Lautner. Was a decent, By the numbers action/conspiracy thriller. Was not expecting an Oscar nomination for the film, It was what it was and worked fine.

"Passion of the Christ". I bought this when it first came out but hubby lent it out to someone and we never got it back and I wouldn't buy it again. Just watched it on Netflix. OMG. Literally. I went through almost 3/4 of a box of tissues and was utterly horrified.

Those of us who were brought up Christian...we were never taught to realize just what Jesus went through, were we???? I finally understand.....

Citizen X? I think that was the title, Netflix DVD. Not sure why I had that in my que. About the serial killer in the ukraine. Slow and dated. Guess it was considered good at the time. LIked the fact that it wasn't gory, torture porn or exploitative though.

Magic Mike - Time Warner Cable On Demand

Didn't hate it but was disappointed. I knew I didn't want to see this as a stripping as a fun way of life movie, then I heard Soderberg and there was meaning to the movie blah blah blah. Turns out nothing new here folks, move along.
Seemed to me it had a bit of both and in not choosing what kind of movie it wanted to be it was neither, and it was long. And there were a lot of stupid things we were supposed to overlook. Like why a guy who saved 13,000 dollars because he was going to start his own business, didn't have a credit score.
Casting is always a big deal to me and I think McConnauey (whose name I can never spell) was brilliant. He is the only actor that I can think of that could carry off that role like he was taking it seriously.

The Usual Suspects, (1995) starring Kevin Spacey

Very good film, but glad I saw it on regular cable -- IMDb stated the F*bomb was thrown quite a bit. I'm not a fan of profanity at all. It was also very violent, so I'm sure that this aspect was also edited.

Anyway, good crime/mystery plot that keeps you guessing until the end. I did guess the end, but now want to see it again but I can't tell you why since that would spoil it! Don't read any spoilers about this one until you've seen it.
