On Tuesday we went to the cinema to see 'The Artist'. It was a truly charming, and
very enjoyable film. Hope it does well Oscar time. Last night on TV, I saw a film called
'Revolutionary Road' with Leonardo de Caprio and Kate Winslet. It was a really absorbing
story of a couple in 1950s America.

The Grey...didn't like it. Incredible cinematography, but what's up with the crazy, stalking, rhino-sized wolves? Too unrealistic in my opinion. I actually enjoyed the first half a lot, then it just started getting out of hand.

The Descendents. It was good. Another Clooney film that portrays real people living real lives in somewhat extraordinary circumstances.

I also liked it. I appreciated the way that even though Clooney was the main character, he sort of melted into the ensemble of immediate and extended family. Dialogue was pretty good too.

The Girl With The Dragon Tatto (Swidish version) For the life of me, can't understand why they would remake perfection. Very much enjoyed this and it's sequels, I believe this was the better of the three though; so glad I reserved it at my library.

Don't need no stinkin Super Bowl, when I had:

Friends With Benefits, Very much enjoyed this movie, could of lived without it turning out as it did, but enjoyed the ride.

The Secret of the Grain

IMDb - The Secret of the Grain (2007)

The movie is in French with English subtitles. Those who enjoy indy and/or foreign movies (family/drama) will enjoy it. The movie is well reviewed, I enjoyed watching it.

It is available on Netflix streaming.
