A Foreign Affair with Marlene Dietrich and, best of all, Jean Arthur. *swoon*

Just finished watching all 10 episodes of "Contiuum" season 1. Great TV Sci-Fi series! Can't wait to see season 2!

When The Wind Blows. I read a review where it was compared to Grave of the Fireflies, only the reviewer claimed it was even more heart-wrenching. Well I wasn't impressed. I really felt no emotional response at all throughout the entire thing, whereas Grave of the Fireflies is almost excruciating to watch, it's so sad. No comparison, IMO.

To Kill A Mockingbird - I had wanted to see this for a long time and finally found it online. Excellent movie, bit long in the beginning but really great story.

Being forced to watch Iron Lady right now...it's terrible. Of course, I don't like Meryl Streep, but this movie could have been so much more. Poor tribute to such an important historical figure.

we just watched that last night as well. I agree.

With all they hype Skyfall got, with some folks saying it was the best Bond film since Goldfinger, I had very high expectations.

Don't get me wrong, it was your typical Bond movie. Cool explosions, big action scenes, a bunch of beautiful "Bond Girls," etc...but it wasn't THAT good. I'd say it was probably my favorite Daniel Craig Bond movie, but even that isn't saying too much. The 2nd half of the movie felt kinda rushed.

i'd give it 7/10, though I was expecting more of a 9/10. Definitely worth watching if you like Bond movies, but it definitely isn't a "Bond classic." Forgive me if I'm sounding too critical, but I was expecting to be completely blown away after all the hype.

I totally hear ya! It was definitely a hyped up film. It had too much action, imo.

I really like the older movies; they seem to have more style & substance. (for my preference)

I hadn't seen any of the Daniel Craig Bond movies until this one. I just don't like him for some reason....lol

Skyfall

I'm crushing on Daniel Craig. (Have been since his first appearance as Bond.) I think he's by far the best Bond. My husband is crushing on the Anderson Wheeler rifle.
