Happy New Year, Ans... I'm going to buy the DVD soon, as well. I think a big screen would be best for viewing... so, I guess I'll need opera glasses whilst watching on my 19" TV.

Several people, including my 20-something niece told me about sites with free downloads, but they're a bit iffy in my experience. Perhaps you know something I don't? The ones I've seen might not be legal (I'm guessing) & they open window after window, sometimes leading to a final screen which says it's free but asks for input of a credit card # as some sort of collateral. Yikes! I'm also a bit leary of viruses, trojans & worms, oh my.

Movies are outrageously expensive & we rarely go... sometimes we get into phases (during cold winter months) where we spend more time indoors, so pay the $12 tix fee for the priviledge of staying warm whilst drinking a $5 rootbeer. Oh, well, it keeps us out of jail...

Have a great winter!

Black Swan.
A good movie, though more violent than I had anticipated!

I just saw:

Mission Impossible 4- I felt this movie was wayyy more story based but has good action and overall is good.

The King's Speech- Colin Firth did a really good job but I felt it dragged on at parts and didn't really dive into character development as much as it could have.

Moneyball- Good film but I don't feel it is oscar worthy. I get why the daughter was in the movie but felt they could have went without it.

Courageous- Not a bad film, tries to push God without getting into religion. If your an atheist don't bother.

Mr. Smith Goes To Washington. I've seen it at least a hundred times but I still enjoy it.

This isn't a new release movie, but rented Changeling with Angela Jolee. I usually don't care for her acting in my opinion she did an amazing job. Also watched The Help and cried constantly through the movie but absolutely loved it.
