"Muriel's Wedding" was maybe the greatest film of all time that rested on that side of the rather fuzzy "comedy" line. I can't think of anything else that even comes close. It blurred the distinction between laugh and cry.

Muriel's Wedding is definitely on my list, as is Little Miss Sunshine. I like Undercover Blues, Who's that Girl and Three Musketeers (Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland)

1) Nat'l Lampoon's Christmas Vacation
2) Home Alone
3) Porky's
4) Some Like It Hot
5) Animal House

I also like the OLD comedies of Marx Bros, Keystone Cops, Buster Keaton, Three Stooges. Slapstick style comedy has never been the same since.

Interesting. I probably have the widest variety of humor of anyone I know, and that movie wasn't funny to me at all. Instead I found it cruel and disgusting. But I didn't find "Fear and Loathing In Vegas" funny, either. I'm known to get unpredictable.

Hard to keep it to five, but I'll try.

The Jerk
Used cars
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
The Big Lebowski
Anything Andy Clyde or Buster Keaton ever did

The CPU in my brain is slow, and blotchie, but I'll put 5 that are funny.

1. 40 Year Old Virgin (I love this movie.)

2. Blazing Saddles (I recently watched this for the first time, and was rolling.)

3. National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation" (Chevy Chase, and Randy Quaid toghter....brilliant!)

4. Funny Farm (They just don't do auckward humor like Chevy Chase anymore.)

5. Jackass 2 (Kinda anoying, but I did crack up watching this in the theater.)
