Hey, did somebody mention Audition? I heard so much talk about the torture scene, I wen to youtube and watched it through my fingers. Couldnt get past the eyes---oh my god-not the eyes! I have to say, I've not ever seen the movie but her beautiful face and little 'kitty kitty' sounds are freaking disturbing!

I strongly suggest Dumplings. It's Japanese. I found it to be very disturbing and it stuck with me. You can either find an extended version by itself, or sold as part of The Three Extremes, which includes two other weird movies.

I also really liked Cigarette Burns from the Masters of Horror series on Showtime. Maybe others would disagree with me, but I found the entire concept really disturbing and sickening and a very different level than your typical horror movies. Either way, I definitely suggest those two if you are looking for something a bit different and under the radar.

A Beautiful Life - an excellent movie but it really disturbed me
Blair Witch Project - a psychological thriller that left me looking over my shoulder for months
Hostel - Who thinks of this stuff?!

The Thin Blue Line - mostly made me sad, though.

Million Dollar Baby. Excellent movie, but it left me very unsettled.

I don't even know how to describe this film but lets just say their is a scene with a fat drag queen eating real dog poop; the most bizarre movie I've ever known.

But Pink Flamingos is very disturbing.

with the balls in their mouths - I cringed in my seat during the entire last half hour of the movie!

My pick would be the "Faces Of Death Series"
