Nowhere near as good as the first one. Movie just seemed all over the place with whiny characters you didn't care about, totally distracted from the monsters. And even the monster fights weren't that good.
Hang on. This movie is coming out in two months??? Have they even released a trailer yet? How did I miss this?
Or did I not? If they are releasing a movie in two months and they haven't even released a trailer, that tells me that either the studio is in complete disarray or they know they have a stinker on their hands.

Maybe it's just ready to go? It was supposed to be a 2020 release. Theaters aren't going to be open for a while. It'll bring in subscribers.
I did, too. It seems REALLY weird to be putting out a major release in 2 months when they haven't put out so much as a teaser, much less a trailer. Makes me afraid they have just given up on this movie and are out to recoup at least some of the losses they are expecting.

The movie's been "in the can" for a while. This pandemic has levelled the played field as far as releasing blockbusters goes. Nothing is as it should be at this time.

Yeah. It just seems really strange to release a major film with absolutely no promotion whatsoever.
