Every year, I post my Fudge Recipe. It is made with velveeta cheese. Rather than post it again, you can find it https://www.city-data.com/forum/south...eatin-329.html

She hasn't been on here since the end of August. Perhaps her computer went down.

I was also concerned a while back, so I went and looked at her Facebook page which is open to all Facebook members, and she has mentioned it quite often here and invited people to come over to her page and visit. She is using her alias, Ma Bonnema. You can take a look for yourself if you're on Facebook. I don't want to repeat somebody else's story here, I think that would qualify as gossiping. Long story short, it looks like she's just not visiting here for the moment.

PS. I just took a look at a link posted on her Facebook page, and she's asking for people to spread the word, so that's what I'm doing here. It speaks for itself. EH, if you think it's inappropriate to post this, just remove this PS.

A little birdie sent me a message that someone had asked about me. (Thank You little birdie)
I'm still alive.
Thank you for your concern it really means a lot to me right now. I'm sorry I haven't been on but I have had a lot of family drama lately and some problems that I didn't want to bring here on the forum. With everything going on in my life I felt it best if I just stayed away for a while. I did not mean to worry anyone.

We are doing okay. Taking things one day at a time.
For those of you who visited my facebook page.. you might think I am a total nut case. But hey, we can't all be perfect.

I went for my physical on the 13th Dec. (for disability) and I felt like a circus monkey being asked to do tricks. Was embarrassing to me. Hopefully I will hear some good news though.

I want to wish each and every one of you and your families a Blessed and Joyous Holiday season and hope that your wishes and dreams come true.

Val

Hope things go well for you. Applying for SSDI, is a marathon. And the biggest issue for many people who are disabled, is not being able to work, having no money, and health issues.

I think I saw some wolves yesterday. Pretty much in the middle of no where on 12, by Deep Creek. Two of them. They looked bigger than coyotes. And several large white jack rabbits. Many antelope.

Best of health to you and to your mama, MaBonnema. Sounds like you had a scare & a challenging fall.

@Jasper... Thank You. Yes, my doctor has told me I am unfit for work. To look at me I look fine but you can not always judge a book by it's cover. After the physical and all of the "tricks" they made me do they sent me over to the hospital (next block) to have some xrays... by the time I got there I was stiff and starting to hurt.. not a fun day. LOL

@Bongo...Thank you for the warm wishes. Yes, it did give me a scare. And all of the other BS going on did not help. But, mom and I got through it. We will continue to get through it; together; one day at a time.

Happy Holidays!!

Default Advice for MaBonnema Don't get discouraged

Despite the doctors reports etc. it's most likely that you will wait patently for the determination only to receive a denial letter. Don't be discouraged, it's normal for them to deny unless you are in a wheelchair or something.
Just appeal the denial and you will get another denial letter. I think that most folks resort to getting a lawyer to help them out. Many cases actually go to court but just go to the doctors your lawyer sends you to and after perhaps in a year or so they will put on on the disability roles. As it takes so much time for them to determine when the disability began, you may receive a back settlement.
Don't give up, they will stall and stall as long as they can.
They also at times will put an investigator on you to to film and check up on your activities to weed out the fraudsters. Good luck to you.
