It's snowing here. We've been skiing here at RLM & it's nice, but only a handful of runs are open. Need more snow!!! I'm wanting the nordic center to be groomed....!

Ok, I offered coffee to somebody that would come down and plow my snow and nobody showed up. I kept that coffee hot all day too.

So today, I'll kick in some bear sign along with the coffee.

Every day I have to go out and measure snow depth and then take core samples to bring in and thaw out to compute moisture levels. Depth of new snow, moisture of new snow, depth of old snow, moisture of old snow. First we got 5 inches of snow, straight down, easy enough. Then, the next day, we get a half inch, but the wind blows a little bit. Ok, a little tougher. But then the next day we have gusting to 50+. First one way, then the other, and now I have no idea what is new, what is old, or even if it is left over from last year.

I guess that's why I get paid the big bucks....... oh wait, I'm a volunteer.

Oh well, coffee and bear sign is on for anybody, plow or no.

Default A proposition !

Got a deal for ya EH ! Send me a private jet for the flight there and back, supply the rig to move the snow and I'll plow the drive for free. (I don't drink coffee)
I may bring a few friends with me such as the Mad Hatter, Alice (and she's a looker), two cats who won't stop grinning, a white rabbit and a hookah smoking caterpillar.
The friends I'll bring may be bringing some of their other buddies to help plow and they will all be mighty hungry and worn out from watching me plow so there has to be a giant feast after the plowing is done.
They seem to enjoy real BBQ, piles of boiled crawdads, crab legs, lobster and caviar, so get that jet fueled up and get the chefs started on the feast. We'll be packed and waiting at the airport.

Off to the big city, of Billings. Just passed the capital, it was so pretty, with a small herd of deer grazing. Montana is really picturesque. Love it here.

I always like a trip to Billings. Seems it has a little more to offer than this town of 850 that I live in.

Drive safe. It always amazes me that people wonder why the deer are always on the highway, when, in fact, we spray the ditches to make them weed free and then groom them so the grass/feed is always so nice and plush.

Last trip to Billings I saw a huge moose, right outside of Three Forks. Mostly just see antelope, small ones.
