I wanted to answer your question as I used to live up there in Frostbite Falls and then I moved out to the country to Mooseturd, but unfortunately I feel asleep halfway through it yawn.I think you mean to say CUT AND DRIED,not cut and dry.Anyway sure glad I don't live there now-8 mos of winter and at least 2 months of dripping hot humidity where you don't dare turn off the ac for 5 minutes,at least not in the MPLS area. But anyway, whereever you are, have a great day!!!!

Have Ozzie's parents even showed up in the media. They'd be fascinating to meet. They produced the Prince of Darkness.

Ozzie and I are most likely 25th cousins or so--we do not spell our names the same and are around the same age-senior citizens, but my ancestors did come from Ireland and Jolly old England,so we are most likely kin--amazingly,my younger bro does resemble Ozzie, quite a lot. Thanks for your interest. That makes about the 500th time I have asked re Ozzie but since I dwell in THE LAND OF OZ it all fits.Do have a lovely evening!!!!!

Only because July didn't act like July. And May-June weren't typical either. I'm just hoping September and October revert to normal. I don't need summer weather in October and November.

yesterday there was water falling from above, it lasted for several hours and caused the trees and ground to be quite wet. What was up with that and does it have a name?

Really, where? I think that phenomenon happened here this morning but not much of it. Rumor has it it's called "rain" but maybe we should look that up on Wiki to make sure...

100+ degrees on September 9th..just not right....

The rain isn't missing. It just got added to other areas that already can't handle what they have.
