Wow, we have had freakish April snowfalls here in the Anchorage area, too but nothing like you guys are getting. This is one of the few times that weather-wise, I'm glad to be in Alaska and not in The Cities.

I know that it may sound crazy some Minnesotans but the thought of snow in May is exciting to me. However, I understand that it may not be that way for the people there and that I may not feel that way if I were living up there. Has anyone taken any pictures? It looked so beautiful! Was it that Rochester got 13 inches and somewhere in the far Southeastern corner of Minnesota got 18 inches? I couldn't remember any of the other numbers that I heard for the other areas. I told my Wisconsinite cousin that I want snow and he said that I can have all of it lol! Is that how mostly everyone feels about it at this point or are any of you happy to have the snow?

I was in Las Vegas for a couple days. The storm made national news. Asked my neighbor when I got back and he said there was NOTHING where I live. Feed bad for those S MN folks. They really get the worst of it. They've had a pretty bad spring while the Twin Cities has just been a bit off the norm.

The craziness continues! Saturday night it will freeze. Tuesday will have highs in the 90's. I'm guessing a lot of people will accept the 90's just because it isn't snow. I just hope the 90's isn't going to be baseline from now on. Plus, Tuesday the humidity might be somewhat bearable.

First line of severe weather pushing through the area. Hail reports in the south metro.

This is sort of reminiscent of the Storm of The Century in 1987. Stable system just kept sucking moisture from down south and depositing it. This will probably fall way short, but it does refresh memories of a really awesome storm.

Ch. 9 was making jokes about not getting spooked by that strange object in the sky.
