You and me both. It's a long walk from the North 40 parking lot to my college in these temps. It sounds down right nasty tomorrow!

I'm about at my limit for winter. Normally I don't mind winter until about early March, then I'm ready to move on to spring but this has to be the worst winter ever...or one of them...

I moved out of Minnesota in Jan of 2012 but still follow MN weather closely because my son is now on my former central MN dairy farm.

I have always told him stories about how brutal December of 1983 was ( he was a year old then )

This winter has that beat in duration of the extreme weather. In 83, the real brutal part lasted about 9 days. It seems this year it started in early December and except for a couple days here and there just hasn't eased up.

-41 wind chill right now at his central MN dairy farm Most of his work is outside ( feeding etc)

I agree - usually I can deal with winter. This year has been the worst that I remember. 3-4 years ago we got hit hard with snow - over and over and that was bad. I'm moving to NC this spring/summer - can not wait.

That was probably just wishful thinking. It's sad when we'll take mosquitos over all this cold/snow.

Heard a weather report that said these bitterly cold trends will continue at least into mid-febuary. This winter has been brutal!

It has been cold over here in Wisconsin as well. -10F for the low in Madison today and -20F to -25F up north. 10-25 inches snow depth for the entire state.
