Not sure how we will make that work on our end with two working adults and having to pick up at 11:30. Still need to figure out daycare for our 3 year old, and waiting to see what my other's son's school does.
Our K - 5 is split into two cohorts: 8:55 - 11:20 or 12:45 - 3:30 with no lunch for either cohort. The reason was that due to the necessary cleaning, lunches couldn't be had in classrooms. And I believe the cafeteria space is needed for additional classroom space. So yes, lunch was a big consideration for our hybrid model as well.

Do they have asynchronous learning while the other cohort is in class?

Yes, afternoon cohort will be required to do remote learning in the mornings and morning cohort will be required to do remote learning in the afternoons. Cohort and teacher assignment is announced on 8/14.

7 day average went back down to 1.9%. Does seem like they are 3,4 days behind.

Parent-side is pretty easy to imagine. Typical day:

You wake up at 6:00 or so since that's when your small child wakes up, you feed them breakfast and take turns having a shower with your SO (on days when you both get to work from home; otherwise, skip this step). You then alternate between working and chasing your kid. Some meetings are on a headset, running around and keeping your kid out of trouble while talking business, others are you keeping your child on your lap while they cry and scream because they need a diaper change or a bottle but you're in the middle of a meeting and it has to wait. Your lunch break is taking your kid out to play or cleaning up the lunch they threw on the floor. More meetings, more screaming. Finally 7:00 comes along and you take another break from work to put the kid to bed. You eat take-out because you're too exhausted to cook and go to bed at 8:30.

I'll get 1-2 hours each day as a golden hour when the kid takes a nap, but some days that nap falls at inconvenient times.

Do I look forward to daycares opening again? Oh yes.

Its not the best situation, but we can only take it 1 day at a time, really. The numbers creep up, and you read the stories of the Bay State Party Ship, the weddings in the hotel of the weekend, etc... and think 'What are you thinking?'

Wife and I went to a restaurant this week for the first time (tent in parking lot, distancing, etc...) and we were not 100% comfy, but we made our decision - we had to get out for an hour - without our 3 teen+ daughters.

None of them are enjoying this - and its taking a toll (on their schooling, their social life, their well being) but we're trying.

It is getting pretty ridiculous. This has been going on since March. And the virus had been know about since January, possibly December. Never would have expected this to be 2020. Damn.
