Primarily projected hospitalizations and projected asymptomatic/non-isolated carriers. I'm also not particularly interested in gaining my immunity the 'natural' way ... the blood clotting spooks me, particularly after years of field/desk research for med device development. When I'm in a cadaver lab, I prefer to be conscious.

Baker just extended the recent restrictions to Jan 24th

My friend's 18 year-old son ended up in the ER today with breathing issues due to covid. People need to realize that this can affect anyone, regardless of age.

At the snails pace they are vaccinating June might be optimistic.

I'd be surprised if the general pop was being vaccinated in large numbers by June. I think the numbers will drop like they did last year late spring/early summer, but unless vaccinations speed up, and many people actually get them vs refuse, next fall will be like this fall.

I forsee 2021 being exactly like 2020.

See you in 2022. I'll host a BBQ. You're all invited.

I agree with your assumptions regarding the general pop and timeline; however, as soon as our household is vaccinated we'll ease precautions and, given my SO's employer, we anticipate this happening early phase 3.

On a bright note for me personally, my child (in the 20-29 demographic) texted me their vaccine certificate yesterday. Very surprised (but pleasantly)--they do work for one of the larger hospital complexes in Boston, but are by no means considered front-line personnel!
