Yes. Let's hope it's revised based on the mounting evidence that kids don't get the disease, don't spread the disease, and that closing schools doesn't seem to help reduce the spread of the disease all that much.

Not sure how that deductive reasoning works? Social distancing still helps with preventing the symptomatic spread, which is via droplets. If everyone were wearing masks from the beginning, yes I agree then you could question the need for social distancing. That's the point I made...which is if everyone followed the Asian model and wore masks from the beginning of this thing, we might have avoided the need for such draconian measures. We are just not that good at learning from the experiences of other countries.

I think we're really turning the curve here. Deaths are down, cases are down and the WHO says asymptomatic spread might not really be a thing.

Will I eat outside? absolutely. Inside? eh depends on the people I guess. Music concert? Probably not but eh. Plane/train? Don't know yet.

I'm still very concerned about elderly people. I would also be concerned for the elderly on this as if there's no next of kin and there's assets do states and local governments have the ability to take and auction them off? Can you imagine another housing bubble based on owners passing away?...Probate isn't fun.

Neighbors flew home yesterday and said every seat on the plane was full, even middles. I was very surprised as I had assumed incorrectly that there were temporary restrictions on this. Guess not...

I'm in CT and am in the at risk age group but things are open now...to an extent. We can eat outside but I haven't done it yet. My favorite smoothie place is open again and today they had a special that included my old favorite sandwich. I ordered by phone but went inside to pick it up--what a treat, like going to see a long lost friend. I could have eaten at an outside table but I took the food home and ate outside in the sunshine.

Next to the smoothie shop a BARBER shop had just opened! Yikes!

I hope things don't get out of hand and that they don't have to put the restrictions back in place because that lifestyle is so depressing and difficult. I could live with partial restrictions like this though, it's a good, familiar feeling, good enough. We still have to stay safe.

Just had dinner outside at a restaurant with the family for the first time in months. Even though we've mostly been doing takeout for dinner, it was so nice to be out of the house, not have to do any dishes, not have to clean up after. There wasn't even a wait where we went, which shocked me!

On the way home, I noticed the go-cart and mini golf place was open. Kids were out having fun and it was lovely to see.

Which go cart place? My kids might be excited by that.

It’s on the South Shore—a place called Starland in Hanover.

It’s great to see the numbers going down but I think some people are being overly optimistic. Obviously social distancing helped. Look at the way it spread in wuhan and Italy not to mention here. Numbers are low now but life hasn’t been normal since early March.

It seems like people are thinking it was dumb to have closed schools and shut down businesses and are regretting it? Not sure how you could think that way when we did at one point have hundreds of deaths a day for weeks. I’m glad we had the shutdown and feel confident that it did save lives.

Please provide a citation to this mounting evidence? Children don’t land in the ICU with severe pneumonia but I’ve never seen anything that says they’re not contagious if they are infected with the disease with mild symptoms.
