Yup, which is why health care workers often have mandatory flu shot requirements.

and there is no civic responsibility to make myself sick by getting a vaccine that will cause blood clots or other problems. if you are sore afraid get vaccinated and stay away from me. better yet, I would much prefer to stay away from you and your atitude.

Are you a woman of reproductive age? Just don't get the J&J. Get Moderna. Boom. Problems solved.

More like if you are so "afraid" of a vaccine that has a 1:1,000,000 chance of causing an adverse reaction (fyi I have yet to hear of the Moderna or Pfizer causing a blood clot), then fine but you are not cut out to work in health care or any public service job and weren't to begin with (save for any sincerely held medical or religious reserves).

You can't seriously believe that any Mass State Trooper is going to give up those cushy retirement benefits and padded overtime and join the dreaded private sector?

Not a common allergy, and unless they're incredibly allergic, its still recommended to get one by the CDC. You're talking an tiny tiny population.

I never claimed they are going to leave. I was responding to someone that made the claim. I couldn't care less if they do.

They said a few will get picked up by local police departments. But we're only talking about a couple dozen or so, out of what a couple thousand troopers? Doesn't sound like much of a crisis to me.
