A developer has proposed Large mixed-use development in North Macon, Founder’s Pond at Rivoli, includes townhouses, single-family homes, a retirement center and a apartment complex with 350 units.

I hope Planning and zoning approved site.

With what money? Where are the people that are going to use all of this?

This is just too funny!

I don't know what you're smoking, but could you Fedex some up here?

The link you provide states that the neighbors are opposed to this development. It is nothing more than a proposal!

You are beyond belief!

Enjoy your future posts yerocal/NewtownMacon. I'm glad you like Macon, and I wish it well - but you need a MAJOR reality check.

Bye now, it's been fun.

So, Warner Robins is now Macon? Not quite. As the population in Macon went down, the population of Warner Robins went up.
Just how does this fit in a thread titled " Devolopments in Macon 'From Upscale retail to Downtown living'"?
Upscale retail?? That is funny. The Dollar General and the Dollar Tree are not upscale.
Downtown living? Another good one. A building that has been refurbished into lofts is really just a change in usage. It is pretty evident that folks are leaving Macon for other places. Like Warner Robins, for instance.
