Along with this hotel planned it would be nice to have more retail downtown
Condos would increase population downtown
For the fact of Macon bein Off 75 Id expect them to fit in like the other 75 cities \
Having a big city with a skyline

Yea. It's not much room to add anything major downtown though. Macon needs to rescrap some areas and add 2 story row houses(chicago styled) or large story apartments. Theres too many abandoned/boarded up houses taking up space. Also Macon needs to focus all of their attention on the Rutland area down past rutland high. So much open space in one of the best places in macon.
How, not, every time you go downtown, Its so tempting to run the light because no ones crossing
So it is a ghost town
That doesn't make any logical sense what you just posted, I live in Atlanta an often DT/Midtown and every time I pull up to a red light or crossing there is NOT always someone trying to cross the street so does that make DT Atlanta dead, no it does nor does it for Macon. Some of the things you guys post on here to try and make Macon appear so bad is hilarious.....
