I remember Snoopy because my daughter was so afraid of him.

Hey, I'm 53 grew up in Bayside but went to Wallcliff pool in Elmont often, loved that place. By the way someone was asking if there were any Dairy Queens in L.I. We never had one in Queens but I remember visiting my older brother when he lived in Central Islip and we rode our bikes to Smithtown and that was the first time I ever saw a Dairy Queen. Do you remember Wetson's hamburger joint? It was like the early McDonalds where you could only eat outside. It was on Northern Blvd in the Manhasset area, where I bought my first high end audio equipment at "Audio by Zimet". It was the hip place for young audiophiles in the 70's

Anybody remember the name of the wine and cheese restaraunt on Hempstead Avenue in West Hempstead? It was there in the 80's and I think closed sometime in the 90's. It's driving me crazy trying to think of it.
