That seems very misleading with the job description which states quite obviously "this is a full-time position". Part time can be anywhere from 0-32 hours which makes this much more difficult position to take because I cannot lose my entire income to take a chance that this will work into full-time.. *sigh* Good news always seems to be coupled with bad, I know I should be happy but I am not.
damn, that sux!! i'm still waiting for a call myself, at this point i'll take whatever they offer, a foot in the door ya know

Fortunately I am local but I also have a job which means I keep it until I get an idea what is going to happen.

I wouldn't say the job interview had everything to do with it but I am sure there is some impact there, I was told my interview went well. However, I will say by the time I had interviewed they could have been looking to fill holes already (July). I would like to think experience plays an equal part if not more so because there are people who interview well that just don't do their job up to par, trust me I was a hiring manager once upon a time for a hotel. That said, each hotel is different on their process and time will tell just how things are filled.

Guest services... Yeah I was surprised I wouldn't have applied for it if it had the tag part-time anywhere near it because I am employed right now, full-time :P Sadly even 20 hours part-time at the Aria would be equal to my 40 hour work week I have currently, that is my one saving grace.

Did they prep you as to what your salary and hours will be (number of hours)? They told me that much when I asked her umm part-time? I am sure it'll be fine for you, as long as you know you are full-time you are good to go I'd think
