There is no sign of a recession. Interest rates going up and unemployment down. People are just scared as they know what happened 2008, but, it is not this time around to happen again.

I don’t think it’s going to happen again either. The slow down is going to occur because of the higher interest rates and higher cost of living that’s coming I also think crime is going to increase.

Recession? Strong growth is far more likely. Second quarter increase is likely to be 4% to 5% (yoy). See MarketWatch.

Of course, some are praying for a recession.

The thing to watch is the yield curve, which has been flattening. If it inverts, well, that's a very accurate leading indicator of a recession.

Funny how unemployment so low and so is saving and debt at all-time highs.

Strange days indeed

Credit card and auto defaults are on the rise...

I watch it all like its sports

When debt is reported at all time highs is it broken down into categories? I wonder how much of it is from student loans.

I was reading an article about them allowing you to "roll" student loans into house financing.

I did not read all of it as it does not pertain to me.

They LOVE to get those student loans..not just for tuition but living expenses as well.

Then they seem shocked they owe a lot LOL
