(52) A nice town board meeting when a developer gets treed.
(53) A well owners picnic when all the old cowboys come out to BS...
(54) When a couple of neighbors will run over to help you pour a couple of yards of concrete.
(55) Where the guy down the block has a dozen calfs for roping. Most intriguing thing is the calfs like it.

There are alot of police officers who are underpaid. New Orleans pays 35k and NYPD pays only 32K just to name a couple.

here is what i have off the top of my head:

both esmereldas (one on nellis, one on charleston) have decent food...they are Salvadorian, tho, but still good.

the 24hr el rey torta place on charleston and burnham is good.

there is also a 24hr mexican place on charleston and freemont (can remember the name)...little bigger than a hole in the wall, but really good chile verde and all their salsa is hot!

mexican joint in the shopping center w/ target corner of maryland and flamingo has good stuff too.

***oh yeah..also a place on the SE corner of sahara and eastern...but they can be a little slow (small place...sometimes crowded...there is a reason for the crowd). they have a super torta (or words to that effect) that i need to try...always get sucked into the special when i have been there

I am testing for them this month. Earliest academy is June 08 so I have made the decision to work on finishing my Masters degree and working for another department while I wait.

You appear to have this fixation on who others work for and where they live and how they handle the details of their business.

What is it you do sheriff? Who for? Where do you live?

Of course you don't have to tell...but your refusal to do so would certain suggest that others should not respond to your prying requests.

I drive taxi, when I feel like it, work for YCS, live at Charleston and Decatur. And, yes, it is NO surprise that these posters live in an internet fantasy.
