Agree - the cheese smelled like it was made with toilet water!

While I certainly wouldnt call this place the modt overrated, avoid the steakhouse in the Cannary, NLV folks. I'd honestly rather have Applebee's. I paid way too much for bland slop there on 3 occasions. I only tried them that many times to be fair to them (well they're very close to where I used to live as well), and that was a HUGE mistake.

I don't have to think very long about this one: Battista's Hole in the Wall off the Strip. Small portions of mediocre food at high prices (and don't think about not eating - they charge you to sit at the table even if you don't order anything). Lots of pictures of film, television and recording stars who ate there once 40-50 years ago. Don't bother.

Second place goes to P. F. Chang's. The same criticisms apply, minus the photos of former stars that no one under 60 would remember.

anyone know if Montana Meat Co. in the NW is any good (steakwise)?
Montana Meat Company | Steak
wife wants to try it out but I haven't heard anything about it so I'm not that anxious to spend the bucks especially if the steaks aren't decent.

Skip it, pretty mediocre at best. Took my wife there for dinner and baked potato was undercooked and steak was bland. I would go to Bob Taylor's for a steak in the immediate area.

It's basically bar food. Their $4.99 breakfast specials are pretty good, but I go elsewhere for a good meal.
