Sort of like your post here, right?

The steak dinner I had at Delmonico Steakhouse was much better, and I'd expect Stripsteak to be equally good, since I've had good steaks at other Michael Mina restaurants.
This is splitting hairs, but I'm pretty sure Craftsteak is Tom Colicchio's restaurant. Michael Mina is innocent.

Stripsteak is Michael Mina's - I wrote that. What I was trying to say was I hadn't eaten there yet, but I'd expect it to be good (at least as good as Delmonico Steakhouse), because I've had steaks in other Michael Mina restaurants.

Reviews I have read stated that you might be disappointed if you order something other than the bone-in ribeye. I've only ever ordered the bone-in ribeye, so I don't know if that is accurate.

Every new restaurant is an adventure. The way we see it, nothing is ever a failure. We come, we eat, we have an experience. We ate at David Burke before a show. It was early, the place was deserted. I was not hopeful. We had a great meal and great service.

Gotcha! I get craftsteak and stripsteak confused sometimes, too.

Bam! Kick it up a notch. You're correct. I've eaten there a few times but I haven't been in so long that I wonder how consistent they have been.

I have read mixed reviews on Delmonico as well...but I tend to stick to ribeye unless they do a center cut veal chop. Delmonico's veal chop was mindbendingly good.

Been a few years since Charlie Palmers, but I loved it. Seemed a much nicer experience than Craftsteak. Sides get bad reviews, but I only got mushrooms and asparagus, I thought they were prepared properly.

Wife and I just went to Lagasse's Stadium which is practically hidden in the basement of the Palazzo. We were underwhelmed considering the hoopla of the Lagasse name. The Caesar Salad was blah, the fish & chips were bland. The kobe beef burger was the only standout. Service was also lacking in attentiveness. The stadium concept was cool I guess,
