Okay, this is the flip side of the coin from that other thread. There must be some hidden gems in this valley. I'll start:

Mi Casa at the Silverton Casino on Blue Diamond off the 15. Their "Santa Rosa Chicken Salad" is the best I've ever had anywhere. Just the perfect amount of sweet and spicy. I even turned my salad-hating wife onto it and now it's her favorite dish too. Even if you don't like salad, try it. Trust me.

I consider Mi Casa underrated because every time we're in there, it's like we own the place. The fajitas are good too, but there's never more than 10 people at a time. Weird.

I had one of the best drinks ever at Mi Casa.....it was like a peach daquari and the rim was cinnamon and sugar. Tasted like peach pie so I kept at 'em. I liked the food my husband and kids didn't care for it, so I didn't get to go back often.

The Four Kegs. It looks like a "dump" but the food is outstanding. Best bolis in town

Buzz BBQ. Very good BBQ, friendly service, enough food for us to get two meals out of it.

Not sure about "underrated", because they both get decent reviews - but "under the radar" might be a little better way to describe both Nora's (Italian Cuisine) down on Flamingo, and Elephant Bar @ the District in GVR.

Great food, reasonably priced.

1) Binion's Ranch Steakhouse -- although I have not been there since they remodeled. Next time I have guests in town, this is where I'm taking them. (I've seen some spotty reviews about the place, but I chalk that up to people who don't have a clue how to dine out.)

2) Bouchon -- I'm amazed this isn't considered a Las Vegas treasure just for the steak frite.

Both restaurants "bring it" for a lot less than, say, Ruth's Chris.
