Hik, here's my shout back! We've finally had a lull in the rain. The storm is moving west (Gainesville now). Oh my, but Brevard County. Flooding everywhere as well as the cities/towns along the St. John's River. Do call your dad. I'm sure he is okay but since he's lending a hand to others during this mess, he would probably feel a moment of relief hearing from you. I think the feeder bands have finally passed through Orange and Seminole counties at least south Seminole where we live. We are so very lucky as we have one of those downhill driveways; however, no water intrusion anywhere.

And, to the rain goddesses, can't you find a way to send some of this rain to East TN? We are more than willing to share. Thanks for thinking of us. Your thoughts really do matter.

And, to everyone who has sent caring messages, thank you, thank you. I don't want to miss anyone so I'm not including names--just a heartfelt 'thank you friends' to all.

Yeah, not to whine, but why is it that every time that I plant the rain stops?

It just means it is time to go out and wash the car so the rain starts back up again.

Chekin' in, kinda quiet here today.
Suzanne Glad old Fay is leaving you and that no harm to you and yours. I am at the very beginnings of this storm, it is starting to get breezy and the pretty blue skys are leaving.
Pam, No no signs of fall here, that is one season we don't get to see! I so miss it, althought the high school here has its first game, doesn't count, on the 25th. If it isnt cancelled that is. I know you cant wait to get back to Knoxville. Hope you and bill are doin alright.
Hik, Wash the car and turn on the sprinklers and it will rain.

Lauren and I are running around trying to find yard sales. Not much success. Dropping off a thyme plant and off we go, again.

Mornin' all!
