I read the probable cause affidavit yesterday. It's pretty apparent that these three are not too smart.

Who calls a friend and says his house exploded without knowing if it did? Mark Leonard did this the prior weekend following their first attempt to blow it up.

The thing I have a hard time wrapping my head around is that this woman is an intensive care nurse. It maybe naive, but I think of nurses, especially intensive care nurses, as being more caring people. Guess not.

Remember the woman who ran over the Greenfield police officer who was on his bicycle last year and drove away, leaving him to die? She was an intensive care nurse too. I thought the same thing then.

I agree....however I have come to learn that money has a funny way of getting folks to do things they typically would not.

The article in the Star mentioned that this case qualifies for the death penalty or life in prison without parole.

I admit I haven't read all IndyStar articles related to this matter, but to get the death penalty, I'd think they'd have to prove they intended to kill the neighbors. I just don't see how that happens, unless the police are witholding something for now.

I think under Indiana law multiple victims in an arson case makes it eligible for the death penalty.
