They must have thought that were smart when they went to a casino.

"See, we are on camera at the casino! Told ya we had an alibi!"

just watched the news conference ... wow ... what a senseless act.

The microwave was used, but I didn't get that it was programmed remotely. That particular model can be timed for as long as 24 hours in advance ... the microwave just counted down to zero. The house was filling with natural gas for 6-9 hours ... talk about a bomb.

The Star also reported they had switched a digital thermostat with an analog one as well to get a spark.

and removed the gas valve from the fireplace.

I hope the prosecutors office has all their ducks in a row on this one!!! Would hate to see them get off on a technicality. We'll see if they settle ... they will never confess unless they turn on each other.

The brothers will probably make Monseratte into some kind of femme fatale ...

Change of Venue, they will never get a fair trial anywhere within the Indianapolis television market.

I guess they didn't take into consideration that not only would they blow up their house but everyone elses too. Yet one of them actually tells someone about "getting the insurance $". Guess he never heard the old term "loose lips sink ships". What idiots.

They're trying to ban guns now due to the Connecticut shooter....what's next? Ban natural gas in case someone else decides to cash in on a mortgage they're upside down on?

apparently the brother talked to a guy who works for the gas company ... asked how much gas would need to ignite ... it's too bad the gas guy didn't go to authorities immediately. I'm not blaming him. I'm sure that crossed his mind too ... but who knew????

yes, expect a change of venue, but this made national headlines and the arrests did too ...

change the venue to Bartholomew county!!!! pick me pick me!

Heck, I see a made-for-TV movie coming.

The Indy Star has a huge article detailing the crime today. Amazing amount of details and clearly shows the inconsistencies in the stories. Relatives and a confidential informant gave good information. A son? told of the boxes of pictures, financial records and golf clubs that were taken from the home before the explosion and stored at his house.

These people probably watch too much TV where the front of the house or apartment blows off, a fire erupts and nothing else happens. Look how many lives they destroyed.
