Legal immigrants; 'brown' Mexican or otherwise, I welcome to my country.
Illegal aliens are almost always criminals and need to be deported, have their assets seized and be banned from returning to the USA for at least 3 years.
Yes; I am extremely prejudiced against illegal aliens---------irrespective of their race/ethnicity.

My rebuttal was directed towards that poster who tried to invoke the race card.
So I have posted essentially the same comment a few times; think about it, I can safely say that neither Alexus nor anybody else will wade through pages of older posts to catch my stated opinion.
Well..., something we can be certain of, is that this over-achiever obtained his grant based on academic merit, not because some kind of quota, the ivy league schools are over-represented with non english ethnic groups, my nephew for example attends Harvard and did not get a penny in assistance because hispanics are well represented, and my brother makes too much money for my nephew to qualify for any assistance, threfore he comes up with nearly $80,000.00/yr for undergrad...

At Harvard, Bravo faced misconceptions and a feeling of isolation she had never known. She decided that she did not want other Latino students to confront such campus culture shock alone.

The guide, created by Latino students, provides insight into their experiences on the predominantly white Ivy League campus. Latino enrollment at Harvard averaged less than six in the mid-1970s, the guide says. Today, about 8 percent of the roughly 6,700 undergraduate population is Latino.

my nephew is having the time of his life, he is involved in several extra-curricular activities, also he is at the top academically, there are peolple from all ethnic backgrounds that feel isolated, and it has to do with social skills more than anything else.
My nephew is engaged to a beautiful girl of english descent, also a harvard student, he is a very handsome caucasian kid of hispanic descent.
Most likely Asians.............many of whom, BTW, are English speaking Americans
and like hispanics, asians also tend to keep their ancestral language, or are you going to claim that the almost 50 million hispanics in the usa would not learn english, not true, in my own case I am a first generation
american(I just received my permanent residency papers last week) I speak flawless english, I have thrived in this society, effortlessly. I have a multi-million dollar business in phoenix, with satellite offices throughout the southwest, yet I also speak spanish to family and many other people, just like the asians do......
i don't have a problem with immigrants retaining their ancestoral language but there is a time a place for everything. Ancestoral languages are best spoken in the home. Out in mainstream America speak the language of this country which is English. it is just plain rude and disrespectful not to do so. Spanish speakers are the worst offenders.
