Yes, I think the carnitas are their most notable item, though everything I've had there has been quite good.

Personally I think Irma's is overrated. Its good and its different, but its not great and tends to be a little pricy compared to the competition.

Now Hugo's is in Montrose and Irma's is downtown. The original El Tiempo is in the Greenway Plaza area (although I think someone said there is one outside the loop).
There are several El Tiempo locations, including the one I mentioned on Gessner near Westheimer. There was one in Katy, I believe, but it burned down. The other locations I know of are inside 610, but maybe there's others outside the Loop?

They are opening another one on 290 between 610 and the Beltway. The building is in progress I have passed by it a few times recently.

On the other end of the spectrum......I believe there is one on The Gulf Freeway in Webster that was only partially built out and has been sitting empty with a sign saying "coming Spring 2015". It was only very recently that I passed it and took a good look at the signage, and I swear it said "El Tiempo", which really surprised me. I just assumed it was a stand alone operation that had lost funding.

Maybe I'm wrong though and somebody else on here knows the story.
