FYI to all RNs coming; unless you have experience in a specialized field the outlook is grim for a hospital job. Now the LTC and SNFs hire but you need to be able to handle that type of stress...big turnover with that, where as the hospital RNs will die at their posts before they give up their positions.
As has been said previously, the union pay over here is below city pay on the mainland.

Does anyone know what the job market is like in Hilo? I know that on the other islands there is a serious lack of jobs, but I see countless postings for Hilo for travel nursing and more!
