Suburban Columbia County (Martinez and Evans) is equal in size to Warner Robins, if not bigger.
Columbia County has over 106,000 ppl with about 75% of that being clustered in Martinez/Evans.

Well Aiken County has over 150,000 ppl, and its just across the river from downtown Augusta.
Then you have Evans and Martinez to the west, which combined is larger than Warner Robins.

Sorry Aiken County has only 142,000 which is about 9,000 more than Houston county.
Evans is 9.9 sq.mil. and has about 17,272 which about the same pop of Lizella 17,977......And Martinez has about 27,749 at 12.6 sq miles........

W.Robins is only 15 miles south from DT Macon and Aiken is 17 miles from DT Augusta......

You might want to try using the most current census figures, not ones from 2000. According to the latest census figures Aiken County, SC has 154,071.. more than Houston County. Then there is Columbia County which has, according the the latest census figures, 110,627...and over 75% of the population of Columbia County is within the urbanized portion adjacent to Augusta colloquially referred to as Evans and Martinez. Since these are unincorporated areas, there are no exact population figures for Evans and Martinez... what you were referring to was a postal code population. The urbanized area of Evans and Martinez is much larger than that. Since Warner Robins is an incorporated city, you are able to get exact population figures, since it has a defined area.. but the urbanized area of Columbia County is larger than Warner Robins.

In the evenings in Columbus it looks like a ghost town.I have been to Columbus many times. While it has nice areas in parts like the Riverwalk area and where that steamboat is,its not very dense at all.Not many tall buildings that are group together. Its weird.I have been to Columbus as well as all over Georgia many times. It is very dull but nicer for families than Macon(slightly).

It really is weird how a city with such a large population seems so lifeless. Do people in Columbus all go to the same spots for leisure? Is It because Ft. Benning is big factor? When you are driving into downtown and you see that green sign for a bank and a gas station with a fast food place connected it looks really looks sleepy. It's as if you aren't even in a downtown. Besides a few streets with bars it's very dull. Even on those streets it isnt like the whole street is live.
