Arabs yes Indians no. You probably mean Pakistan or Bengali. And even then not that much and most of the Pakistani and Bengalis own corner stores in more white areas.

I never heard of it, where I have lived (San Francisco, Oakland, Seattle area) it's a convenience store. Most are attached to gas stations, except for 7-11, Circle K, Short Stop, and Quick Stop. I don't remember seeing any non-chain "Mom & Pops".
