Harissa is yummy.(north African). And then there is piri piri (I believe west African, and very similar to chimichurri)

I am on my phone, please forgive the typos.

Sriracha is definitely common and mainstream here where I live (west coast, bay area CA). Persian food has really gotten big also. Also Hummus! It's everywhere now (again, at least in my neck of the woods). I had never seen / heard of it growing up, but now it's everywhere.

Can't say there's a lot of soul food in the Bay Area. I've still never tasted grits.

I make my own hummus. Easy-peasy.

I used to make it 30 years ago and people would say (with a frown on their face)
"What is this?" It is easy to make and I used to love it. BTW, always wanted to
visit Quebec City, heard wonderful things about it.
