I had chicken wings with BBQ sauce for dinner last night and they were excellent as always, but I had to ask myself, "Are these really worth 4.6 times the price of chicken thighs?"

Yeah, 99 cents/lb. for bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs and $4.59/lb. for chicken wings (which of course have a LOT less meat on them).

I keep wondering when chicken wing prices will go down -- my local grocery stores put all other cuts of chicken on sale very regularly (for less than $1/lb.), but not wings.
