We had a rather German food night here. With Volksmusik.FM internet radio station playing in the background we leisurely cooked and ate our German meal. It was schnitzel, sweet and sour red cabbage, roasted potatoes with onions and sauerkraut, a gherkin, sauerkraut on the side along with some good mustard. And a bottle of Paulaner doppelbock to drink.
Tonight lentil patties,garlic buttered naan,beet and carrot salad.To drink India pale ale or lassi.For dessert fruit salad ( pomegranate,oranges,pink grapefruits,bit of vanilla sugar and a shot of Grand Marnier.
And a shredded red beet,onion and shredded carrot salad with an olive oil,Dijon mustard,red wine vinegar,toasted ground caraway seeds,salt/black pepper and chopped dill vinaigrette.
